Every living thing on earth, including humans, craves attention. Animals attack to defend themselves, plants weather to get watered. Every creation needs a great deal. Humans are also the key to attention. Every day, we strive to stand out and earn people's love and appreciation. Moreover everything is possible to demonstrate who we are at this time. The ideal means to display even our darkest secrets was made possible by social media. We upload videos, pictures, and blogs to share content, but the popularity and attention also matter a lot to us.
Not just social media, but also several national constitutions, making people crave more attention than usual by giving freedoms. Such as: freedom of speech, freedom of self expression, freedom of humanity etc. Seeking attention is the expected human behavior. However, there are occasions when it degenerates into disorder and amorality.
All of these things turn aberrant and unstable when someone has a histrionic personality disorder. It manifests as erratic emotions, a warped sense of self, and an intense need to stand out. In this type of disorder, people behave excessively to get attention. They employ a variety of strategies to dominate, including being assertive and seductive, dressing inappropriately, and displaying dramatic or exaggerated emotions. These individuals are unaware that the way they act and believe may be harmful. And what many people should be aware of is that this problem is similar to other forms of mental illness.
However, there are times when it is a sort of modernisation rather than disorder. For instance, suggesting that someone not be naked is considered to be violating their right to privacy and to be self - conscious. Though, previously, being even partially naked was regarded as shame and an inappropriate action. This contributes to modernity. A person who emphasizes discipline, hard effort, dedication, and ethics risks losing their audience's interest and being viewed as conventional. People who display their naked bodies, lifestyles, and body types, on the other hand, are adored and attract greater attention. We aspire to be the image we see every day. When people research what will drive them into fame, they go for the straightforward, non-controversial methods because they want to be renowned and attract more attention. And most of the time morality and principle doesn’t get in to qualification.
Now, most things are commonplace. All things are liberated. People are shaping their body but stunting their mind. The shift in the attentional focus causes many active minds to vanish. But what we need be aware of is that not everything is advantageous just because it is legal and free. Even though everything has become more mainstream at this point, we must ensure that gaining the attention of the entire globe won't cause us to compromise our morality and mentality.
Are we abusing morality and rules in order to attract attention? Or are we exerting ourselves to stand out?
